Pub is The Hub is a not-for-profit organisation, which offers independent specialist advice to publicans on rural services diversification so they can all provide viable local services or activities which add social value in their local area.
Supporting rural, remote and deprived communities across England, Scotland and Wales, this fund offers grants up to £6,000 to help publicans, licensees and local groups diversify pubs into hubs providing valued community services.
Who can apply?
Eligible applicants include CICs, Parish Councils, Co‑ops, Community Benefit Societies, CLGs, charities and individuals.
Funding can support new services such as allotments, community cafés, village stores, social activities, games clubs, workshops and small capital improvements that increase local access and social value.
Applicants are encouraged to consult residents, engage Parish and Local Councils and submit an Expression of Interest at any time. Advisory support, licensing expertise and PR assistance are also provided.
