Nuffield Foundation Essential Employment Skills Fund

The Nuffield Foundation has launched a new fund to support young people aged 16-24 who face significant barriers to work to develop essential employment skills and ultimately access good jobs.
They are offering grants of up to £500k to evaluate UK programmes, share learning, and inform the wider scaling-up of effective practice.
There is also potential to provide additional funding towards the costs of programme delivery where this is not covered from other sources, including through partnership funding models.
The Foundation are looking for a clear focus on young people facing significant barriers to work. They encourage applicants to specify their target group clearly and make a compelling case for why they have chosen it. This may include focusing on young people with one or more of the following risk factors for being NEET:
