As part of Falls Prevention Awareness Week (21-25 September), the Managed Clinical Network team is hosting a free online Professional Education Session exploring the connection between frailty and falls.

The training session will look at:

  • How frailty can increase the risk of falls
  • The physiological changes and common risk factors involved
  • How to identify frailty and assess falls risk
  • Practical, evidence-based interventions to help prevent functional decline and improve outcomes

The session will be presented by Janet Thomas and is particularly relevant to anyone involved in caring for people who are frail, at risk of becoming frail, or at risk of falls.
