With the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Cellardyke Trust are able to offer this exciting fixed term post of Project Coordinator managing the Delivery Phase of their project "Manx Beauty - Cellardyke and Beyond".

About the project

The Manx Beauty is an historic fishing vessel, built in Cellardyke in 1937. She was subsequently owned and operated from various ports across the British Isles.  Now in a poor state of repair, their project is to improve lives and community through the rebuilding of the Manx Beauty.

The core priority of the project is to deliver training opportunities for young people and volunteers to engage in practical boat rebuilding, restoration and recycling. Alongside students from their partner high school, Waid Academy, the target volunteers are those isolated through social, economic or health issues.

They will create a supportive environment for certificated training opportunities. There will also be additional openings for volunteers to engage in related arts and cultural heritage projects.

About you

Cellardyke Trust require a Project Co ordinator to join our team, working closely with the board of trustees.

They are seeking a highly organised, self-motivated individual with a strong interest in both heritage and community, to lead and manage their Manx Beauty Project through the delivery phase.
