2026 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration

The 2026 SURF Awards for Best Practice in Community Regeneration are now open for applications, providing an opportunity to celebrate and showcase projects tackling physical, social and economic challenges in communities across Scotland.
The Awards are delivered by SURF in partnership with the Scottish Government, with additional support from Creative Scotland, ng homes, Scottish Procurement Alliance, South of Scotland Enterprise and Scotland's Towns Partnership.
This year's awards recognise achievements across five categories:
Whether you're delivering a community-led initiative, creating new opportunities through the arts, improving local places or tackling barriers to employment and housing, your project could be recognised through the SURF Awards.
You may be eligible to apply if your organisation or project is helping to create positive and lasting change in a community in Scotland.
You can also nominate or encourage a project you know to apply if you think their work deserves recognition..
You'll also find a recording of the Awards Launch Event and a short film featuring previous winners to help you with your application.
