People living in North East Fife will soon have access to a new online group supporting mental health and wellbeing.

Better Than Well by LinkLiving is launching an initial pilot of its online Safety and Stabilisation Group from 20 August 2026.

The group is based on the Better Than Well approach and has been adapted from the existing group service that runs alongside one-to-one sessions in Kirkcaldy, Levenmouth, and Dunfermline.

What is the Better Than Well group?

The online Safety and Stabilisation Group will provide a supportive space where participants can learn practical tools and approaches to help manage their mental health and wellbeing.

The group will be delivered online, making it easier for people across North East Fife to access support without needing to travel.

Places will be limited to 10 people per group to help create a supportive and manageable group environment.

When will the groups run?

The initial pilot will include two groups:

  • First group: Starts 20 August 2026
  • Second group: Starts in early January 2027

The intention is to continue the service beyond the pilot period, subject to the outcome of the initial groups.

How can I refer someone?

Referrals for the North East Fife Better Than Well online group are now open.

If you are supporting someone who may benefit from the group, please use the Better Than Well group referral link to make a referral.
