Make a difference every weekend

Are you caring, compassionate and looking for a rewarding weekend role?

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) is looking for three Support Workers to join its Dunfermline team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and adults to live fulfilling, independent lives while developing a rewarding career in social care.

Whether you already have experience or are looking to start a career in care, full training will be provided.

About the role

Working within their Dunfermline service, you'll provide personalised, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs, goals and aspirations.

You'll support a diverse range of people, from children accessing activity-based respite to adults living independently in the community.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting people with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning and managing finances
  • Encouraging participation in social activities and helping people build confidence and independence
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Assisting with personal care and administering medication where required
  • Working alongside individuals to help them achieve their personal goals

Every day is different, but one thing stays the same – you'll play an important role in helping people live the life they choose.

About you

They're looking for someone who is:

  • Caring, compassionate and reliable
  • Passionate about helping others live independently
  • A great communicator with patience, resilience and a positive attitude
  • Committed to treating everyone with dignity and respect
  • Qualified in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards a qualification

A full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance are desirable but not essential.

Previous experience in a support role is welcomed but not required, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

Why join Kingdom Support and Care?

At KSC, they support more than 300 people across Fife and Forth Valley, helping individuals with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health challenges live fulfilling lives.

They're proud to hold Investors in People Gold and Investors in Young People Platinum accreditations, recognising their commitment to supporting and developing staff.

Benefits include:

  • 32 days' annual leave (pro rata)
  • Paid SVQ qualifications and ongoing training
  • Employee Assistance Programme with free confidential counselling
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Access to the Vivup employee benefits platform
  • Enhanced family-friendly pay
  • Generous contributory pension scheme
  • PVG application costs paid by KSC
