Community spirit was in full swing as Together Levenmouth Hub, a project of BRAG Enterprises, joined forces with Safer Communities for a successful community litter pick along Leven Beach.
Bringing together regular Hub customers and local residents, volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help protect one of Levenmouth's most treasured outdoor spaces. The group collected litter along the stretch from the Burger Van to the Action Zone, making a visible difference while enjoying the chance to connect with others and give something back to their community.
After a rewarding morning outdoors, everyone returned to the Hub to enjoy a well-earned lunch. The café team provided delicious homemade soup, sandwiches and refreshments, creating the perfect opportunity for volunteers to relax, chat and celebrate their collective achievement.
The event also reflected the Hub's commitment to sustainability. Water was provided in cartons rather than plastic bottles, ensuring no single-use plastics were used throughout the day and reinforcing the importance of protecting the environment in every aspect of the event.
The litter pick was more than just a clean-up – it was a celebration of community, teamwork and environmental responsibility. By working together, volunteers not only helped keep Leven Beach looking its best but also demonstrated the positive impact local people can have when they come together for a shared cause.
