This summer, organisations across Scotland are coming together to support Together We Move – a national campaign that celebrates movement in all its forms and encourages people to recognise the value of everyday movement for their health and wellbeing.

Launched as part of Scotland's Summer of Sport 2026 and the lead up to the Commonwealth Games, Together We Move aims to challenge perceptions of what counts as being active by celebrating movement in all its forms. Whether it's walking to the shops, gardening, dancing in the kitchen, carrying shopping, playing with children, or spending time outdoors with friends and family.

The Together We Move campaign builds on the positive momentum from Scotland’s National Day of Movement, on 18th June, where people across Fife shared how they move for their health and wellbeing. At its heart, Together We Move recognises that meaningful movement looks different for everyone and that every movement — no matter how big or small — matters.
