This event is being organised by Community Energy Scotland
This particular event is free to attend, so no payment is required.

This free workshop will give you an introduction to the opportunities of community energy.

You'll hear case studies of successful local projects and get a step-by-step guide to planning, funding, and delivering your community group's project.

You'll have an opportunity to talk through your ideas, opportunities, and challenges, leaving with better knowledge and tools to take the next steps towards making your community building more energy efficient and financially sustainable.

    Who should attend?

    • Representatives from community groups that either own or long-term lease a building, or are interested in community energy generation.
    • Community leaders or active group members looking to reduce energy bills and improve comfort in a community space.
    • Those interested or ready to take practical action to serve their community and strengthen their community's sustainability for now and in the future.

No prior knowledge is required - just bring your interest in learning about the possibilities, and it's a bonus if you have any ideas already for improving your community's energy future.

    Lunch will be provided.

This free workshop is for community leaders and active members either curious or already exploring opportunities to install measures such as heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, and wind turbines.
