    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Tenancy Services Trainee
    Organisation: Kingdom Housing Association
    Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £25,181 to £25,639 per annum
    Location: Glenrothes

Kingdom Group is recruiting a Tenancy Support Services Trainee. If you are aged 16-24 and like the sound of working directly with our customers and helping to make a real difference to people's lives, then their three-year traineeship could be for you. This is your chance to build a long-term career and gain a recognised qualification, whilst learning alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to providing the highest standard of service to customers.

Kingdom Group is constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of their communities. They rely on the Tenancy Support Services Team to help customers stay in their homes when life gets difficult - from money worries to wellbeing concerns. If you'd like to be part of the next generation of talent to keep that going, this is the role for you.

    The role

As a Tenancy Support Services Trainee, you'll:

    • Work as part of the Tenancy Support Services Team to help customers sustain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing and reduce homelessness
    • Learn alongside the Tenancy Support Officers, gaining hands-on experience in supporting customers with money worries, managing their home, energy bills and wellbeing concerns
    • Develop core advice, communication and digital skills while working towards a recognised qualification in housing or a related subject
    • You'll help respond to customer queries, support people who are vulnerable or in crisis, and contribute to projects that make a real difference to our customers' lives - building real-world skills with every interaction

Although completion of the traineeship does not guarantee a permanent position, there may be opportunities for successful candidates to progress into roles such as Tenancy Support Officer.

Every role directly contributes to improving lives, supporting communities, and delivering positive outcomes for those who rely on the service. They are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, and you'll find a supportive environment that prioritises work-life balance, flexibility, employee wellbeing and ongoing professional development.

    About you

    They're looking for someone who:

    • Holds (or is working towards) National 5 English and Maths, or an equivalent qualification or experience
    • Has a genuine interest in supporting people, with empathy, good communication skills and basic digital skills
    • Can handle sensitive conversations with care, work on their own initiative and as part of a team
    • No previous workplace experience is required - what matters most is your compassion and willingness to learn

    How to apply
