As the voluntary sector prepares for the 42nd annual Volunteers’ Week (1–7 June 2026), the UK Volunteering Forum is proud to announce a significant evolution in the campaign’s infrastructure: the launch of the first-ever Volunteers’ Week online shop.

Since its inception in 1984, Volunteers’ Week has served as the national cornerstone for recognising the diverse contributions that underpin our social fabric. Following the successful rebrand in its 40th year, the 2026 campaign introduces this dedicated retail platform as a direct response to strategic feedback from across the voluntary and public sectors.

    A sector-led solution

For the first time, volunteering leads and practitioners can buy official merchandise directly. This development addresses a long-standing requirement for high-quality, tangible recognition tools that complement the established suite of free digital resources on VolunteersWeek.org

Strategic priorities of the 2026 shop

    • Financial accessibility: Recognising the fiscal constraints currently facing voluntary organisations, the range features tiered pricing. From high-impact, low-cost items to premium keepsakes, the shop ensures that recognition remains inclusive. Bulk discounts are available for larger-scale purchases.
    • Time saving: Over the years, many organisations have produced their own merchandise, requiring endless hours sourcing suppliers, quotes etc. Now all your favourite items are ready at the click of a button.
    • Operational efficiency: To streamline the thank you process, the shop offers pre-designed bundles which can be sourced via the use of promotional codes found on the website and Volunteers’ Week social media channels.
    • Sustainability and reinvestment: In alignment with the sector’s values, the product range prioritises reusable items, such as tote bags. Crucially, 100% of shop profits are reinvested into the growth and development of the Volunteers’ Week shop and wider campaign.
    • National ‘diolch’ inclusivity: Underscoring our commitment to a UK-wide identity, the shop offers a dedicated Welsh version of the shop and bilingual uniquely Welsh merchandise, ensuring grassroots groups and national bodies alike can celebrate in their preferred language.
