FVA lunchtime learning sessions are aimed at raising the skills and capacities of local service providers interested in improving or enhancing their provision in Fife.
Fife Job Contract provides overarching governance for waged placements for the unemployed in Fife. They work with key partners in the third sector to help deliver and grow the approach.
These funds are available to employing organisations to support salary costs of traineeships or new posts for people who may require a little extra support to make the step into work.
At this session Stuart Don from the Fife Job Contract team will give an overview of the key types of funding available and how to access it including:
- An overview of the funds included under Fife Job Contract's Life Chances Funding
- The kinds of posts and opportunities that are eligible for funding
- The financial and administrative process, support for, and requirements of, employers
- The priority groups supported through the scheme
