Fife Health Promotion Service Workplace Team is raising awareness of the newly launched British Standards Institution (BSI) BS 30480 – Suicide and the Workplace.
BS 30480 is free to download and serves as a guidance document for workplaces, enabling the implementation of good practice in preventing workplace stressors, as well as supporting workers with instances of distress and crisis.
Fife Health Promotion Service Workplace Team’s Workforce Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention #ItsEveryonesJob resources can offer a local perspective through a digital toolkit, traumatic incident framework guidance, and partnership case study. Access these resources here.

Fife Health Promotion Service offers a range of face to face and virtual training options on mental health and suicide prevention. To find out more, please see pages 55-69 of the Health Promotion Service Prevention & Early Invervention Training Programme and to register for a place, please visit the Health Promotion Service training website.
Fife Health Promotion Service Workplace Team would like to offer Fife workplaces an additional opportunity - based on the BSI standard being launched, to attend FREE Scottish Mental Health First Aid training – increasing competence and capacity across the region to support workers with distress and crisis.
