People from the third sector in Fife have been recognised in the New Year Honours list 2026.
The honours recognise significant achievements and exceptional commitment to public life and service in the UK.
Congratulations to all those who have been recognised from our sector in Fife!
- Celine Sinclair, Chief Executive of The Yard was awarded an OBE (Officers of the Order of the British Empire) for services to children and families
- Bob Garmory, Interim Chief Executive and volunteer at The Big House Multibank was awarded an OBE for services to community in Fife
- Martin Rogers, Cub Scout Leader and District Scout Council Trustee, was awarded an MBE (Member of the British Empire) for services to young people and the community in Rosyth
- Dr Hamish Adie Tait, Chairperson of Heart Start, was awarded an MBE for service to public access to defibrillators
- Diane Christine Sangster, Manager of Cosmos Community Centre in St Andrews, was awarded a BEM (Medallists of the Order of the British Empire) for services to community education and childcare
