The Scottish Community Development Centre, a VHS member, are hosting a series of opportunities for communities, and those who support communities, to explore how they feel about trust and transparency in government. Together with the Scottish Government, they are working to develop the next Open Government Action Plan with the initial stage focused on community priorities and experiences.

Participants will have a chance to explore their own experiences of trust, and how that relates to positive and negative experiences with government - as well as what needs to happen to build trust in this engagement process.

These sessions will run in late November and early December and will allow groups to carry our self-facilitated discussions. Equalities and lived experience organisations can apply for a £250 stipend to support discussions with their members.

If you're interested in participating in the discussion or facilitating a discussion with your stakeholders you can read more about it here.
