Health Promotion Service Prevention & Early Intervention Training Programme 2025-26
Created: 25/08/2025Fife Health Promotion Service have launched their new Prevention and Early Intervention training programme for September 2025 - March 2026.
The aim is to provide accessible, relevant, and high-quality learning and development initiatives that build competence and confidence across Fife’s workforce to improve health and wellbeing outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
To achieve this, they work closely with partners, services and organisations across all sectors to develop and deliver training courses and see it as a great opportunity to share local expertise, knowledge and information which supports the requirements of Fifes Local Outcome Improvement Plan: Plan 4 Fife 2017-2027
This training directly supports ambitions and priorities across many strategies such as Fife Health & Social Cares Prevention and Early Intervention Strategy 2024-2027 , NHS Fife Population Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2023-2028 and Scotland's new 10 year Population Health Framework
There is a variety of training opportunities to suit everyone's learning needs, with over 100 courses available across 13 health and wellbeing topic areas. This year they have an addition of 27 NEW courses and a NEW health topic area - ‘Drug and Alcohol Awareness’.
