Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults: Year 5 Opening Soon
Created: 19/08/2025The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults 2025 will be open for applications soon. As with previous years, applications for funding in Fife should be made through FVA, and we will let you know when our application process is open and how to complete the form.
What is the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund?
The Scottish Government has invested £81 million in the fund since 2021, with a further £15 million committed for next year (2026-27) as part of the Scottish Government's Fairer Funding Pilot. This will take their total investment through the fund to £96 million over six years.
This is the first time the fund has been awarded on a multi-year basis and there will be flexibility to award a mix of one and two year grants to eligible projects.
The fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and aims to build and develop capacity within community organisations to support the mental health and wellbeing of individuals. It aims to help tackle the impact of social isolation, loneliness and mental health inequalities made worse by the cost of living crisis.
Further information on the fund can be found here.
