  • Public Engagement Session on the Future of the Fire Service in Fife (Methil)

    Created: 01/07/2025
    News/Events Category: Community Events

    When: 6.00 - 8.00pm, Wednesday 23 July 2025
Where: Methil Education Centre, Bowling Green Street, Methil, KY8 3BQ
This event is being organised by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) is running a public consultation on the future of Service delivery in Fife.

They'd particularly like to hear from groups in the grassroots third sector - people who may risk being overlooked. People with disabilities and the elderly, as well as families that experience poverty, are regarded as being vulnerable in terms of fire safety - it's for this reason they're keen to reach out to those groups in particular.

They expect a large number of people to attend, and urge you to book a place in advance by e-mailing [email protected]

If you're unable to attend the session, you can complete the survey online here.
