Their Asset Operations Team works together to provide a high quality grounds maintenance service for the Kingdom Group. To support this vital work, they're recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Chargehand.     The role

    As a Grounds Maintenance Chargehand, you will:

    • Provide weekly performance/resource updates to the Grounds Maintenance Coordinator
    • Lead and line manage a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives to effectively deliver a grounds maintenance service
    • Operate and carry out basic maintenance to all grounds maintenance machinery and equipment in line with health and safety regulations
    • Ensure the relevant mandatory training is carried out and kept up to date for your direct reports
    • Work as part of the Grounds Maintenance team to deliver exceptional customer service and experience

    About you

    Kingdom is looking for someone who has:

    • Minimum of SVQ Level 2 qualification
    • Experience in a grounds maintenance role
    • An understanding of health and safety legislation
    • Knowledge of COSHH
    • An understanding of the safe use of relevant products and equipment required for the role
    • Customer service skills
    • The ability to understand and quantify risk
    • The ability to undertake manual outdoor work in all weathers
    • Strong attention to detail
