This full-time post plays a key role in helping people across Fife transition from crisis to stability by coordinating household essentials through a referral-based system.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and service users to deliver person-centred support, contribute to anti-poverty initiatives, and build strong grassroots relationships across both rural and town-based communities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing referrals for free furniture and household goods
- Supporting Castle's befriending service, community drop-in lounge, and lunch club for older people
- Working alongside the Castle Home Hub to ensure individuals receive essential items such as bedding, clothing, shoes, hygiene, and cleaning products
- Liaising with local authorities and voluntary sector partners
- Representing Castle at community forums and local strategy meetings
