ENeRGI provides a drop-in centre, housing support service, and outreach support service.
They use a holistic, person-centred, outcome-focused, personalised, recovery-focussed approach. They are a learning organisation, committed to empowerment and self-development. They work to increase education and reduce the stigma and lack of understanding faced by people with these issues and believe in community involvement and providing services that are needed, local and accessible.
ENeRGI is a well-established service, working to high standards; we work within The Scottish Social Services Codes of Conduct and Practice.
The role
The postholder will be responsible for coordinating ENeRGI's befriending service. Your duties will include:
- Supporting volunteers and service users to experience positive outcomes
- Mentoring volunteers and provide the training required to perform their roles
- Running and coordinating weekly groups
The befriending service is an important feature of our service.You will be a key member of a well established community project.
Driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
