  • Fife Carers Centre: Carers Conference 2025

    Created: 18/06/2025
    News/Events Category: Carer Support

As part of Carers Week, Fife Carers Centre hosted their annual Carers Conference 2025, bringing together unpaid carers, professionals, and partners from across Fife to hear from guest speakers and — most importantly — to amplify the voices of carers.

Guests at the conference included Roy Lawrence (Fife Health and Social Care Partnership), young carers Caitlyn and Jaiden, Claire Cairns (Coalition of Carers in Scotland), Tracy Harrison (Patient Flow Coordinator, NHS Fife), Lorna Brown, and Becky Duff.

They have produced a conference report which captures the powerful and honest feedback gathered throughout the day. This included reflections about how services could better involve carers, whether they are moving towards greater equality, and what changes in healthcare would help carers feel seen and supported.
