    This event is being organised by DataKirk

    Please note: This is a two-day summer camp, running on Monday 21 July and Tuesday 22 July 2025.

    The DataKirk provides data literacy and analytics training for ethnic minorities with both migratory and low-socio economic backgrounds living in Scotland.

    They are running a two-day STEM (science, technology, engineering, maths) summer camp for young people aged 12-17. 

    This is a high-energy, hands-on camp where young people will build, code, create, and collaborate like real engineers.

    Highlights include:

    • Escape the Engineering Lab - an interactive digital escape room challenge 
    • Build and programme robots with LEGO Spike Prime 
    • Explore biomimicry, cybersecurity, robotics, and AI
    • Take on a design and build team challenge
    • Create and present a professional engineering portfolio
    • Afrobeat warm-ups, engineering puzzles, and team games
    • End-of-camp competition
