Idlewild Trust is an independent grant-making trust that runs two grants programmes supporting specific areas within conservation and the arts.
Arts: Nurturing Early-Stage Professionals supports organisations which offer high-level training to early career participants (18yrs+) in the performing, fine and applied arts – for example, musicians, dancers, actors, writers, artists, composers, curators, and theatre-makers.
Idlewild Trust offers three multi-year awards for the Arts stream - only available to charitable organisations with programmes Idlewild has supported previously. Application for these awards is by invitation only and the amount available for each award under this scheme will be £21,000 over 3 years.
Conservation of Cultural Heritage: Objects and Works of Art supports the conservation of cultural heritage of recognised national or international importance, such as objects and works of art in museums, libraries, galleries, historic buildings or landscapes accessible to the public.
Who can apply?
UK Registered Charities, some UK Publicly Exempt Charities and Churches that are Excepted Charities.
Minimum annual income: £5,000
