The Second Generation Integrated Regional Employability and Skills (IRES) 2027+ Programme is currently in development and IRES is seeking the input of employers.
The short survey is employers' chance to shape the IRES 2027+ skills offer. They welcome insights about:
- Current recruitment and workforce challenges
- How existing training and support is working
- The skills and talent needed in the years ahead
About IRES
In December 2024, the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region Deal Joint Committee formally recognised the strong performance of the current IRES Programme and endorsed a region-wide consultation process to help shape what comes next.
The Programme Management Office is now leading the co-design of the Second Generation IRES 2027+ Programme to continue driving inclusive, collaborative, and skills-focused growth across the Edinburgh and South East Scotland City Region.
