As part of your normal work the post will cover one of Fife’s 7 Localities but may include travel throughout Fife when needed.This role will involve delivering sensitive, person-centred support to unpaid and family carers. It will promote their physical and mental wellbeing by providing a comprehensive information service that empowers carers to make informed decisions about their emotional, physical, and financial health. This includes offering one-to-one support to help carers access the services they need and develop confidence in managing their caring role.
This role will assist carers in identifying and working towards their personal goals through the Carer Support Planning process. In addition, it will provide benefit checks, support with benefit applications, and offer a compassionate listening ear.
This role will also involve developing awareness of, and building strong working relationships with, organisations and services within the local area to better support carers’ needs.
