    The role

    The Together Levenmouth Hub wants to be the beating heart of Leven High Street, and they are growing the team to meet with the demands of what the future now holds.

    As a member of the Hub Customer Team, you will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day delivery of activities related to the operation of the Together Levenmouth High Street Hub. The Hub hosts a mini golf course, a café, and pop up event space. The Hub also has tourist information and local information for community consultations.

    The role of Customer Team Member will involve tasks across all activities and events, and you will ensure smooth running of any such activities and events by assisting all Hub customers through their visit experience. You will actively seek ways to improve customers’ experience within the Hub, working to exceptional standards of customer attentiveness and care. 

    They are a registered charity and trade as a social enterprise with all profits being retained in the area. It is a requirement of this post that you will also assist with the preparation and delivery of community events, both in house and within the wider community. You will be required to provide a basic disclosure for this role.

    Tasks and responsibilities

    • Engage with customers throughout each day, facilitating the high standard of their visit to ensure continued 5* reviews
    • Be fully aware of and educating on the aims of Together Levenmouth and BRAG Enterprises and associated community enterprises where relevant to help increase their social impact
    • Support the running of the Hub activities including processing bookings and sales, keeping the Hub clean and tidy and cash-handling
    • Support in the running of their Pop Up Event Space when private or community events are on
    • Support the running of the Hub café and liaise with the Hub management team in all aspects of food preparation, safety, hygiene, stock control and ordering supplies
    • Drive repeat bookings and sales from within the Hub, actively engaging with customers personally to educate on current offers/loyalty schemes and relevant promotions
    • Report efficiently to the Senior Operations Manager, or when necessary to other members of the Hub Management Team
    • Sssist in attending external events when needed and promote the Hub, its activities and its projects in an enthusiastic and positive manner
    • Carry out any other tasks or activities as required by the Hub Management Team

    About you

    You will be a fun, friendly, and confident character who is happy to take initiative and will thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be a confident communicator and able to engage effectively with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues. You must be a team player, who will be flexible, whilst managing competing priorities and working efficiently under pressure.

    You will have experience of working in a retail or hospitality setting with high personal standards and as a registered charity we would expect you to have strong personal values.

    About BRAG

    BRAG Enterprises is a Fife-based charity that supports people, who in the main, are residing in disadvantaged areas of Fife to gain the training and employability skills to enable them to move into sustainable employment. They have worked for over 35 years with communities to improve their economic resilience. They also own business centres in Crosshill and Methil that act as Community Enterprise Centres where they rent out affordable business space.

    The Together Levenmouth Hub is the first of their high street regeneration projects and we want to bring growth to Leven and its high street with plans to grow the Together brand across Fife, so they have plenty of opportunities for the right candidate.
