    The role

    The Together Levenmouth Hub wants to be the beating heart of Leven High Street, and they are growing the team to meet with the demands of what the future now holds.

    As a member of the Hub Customer Team, you will be jointly responsible for the day-to-day delivery of activities related to the operation of the Together Levenmouth High Street Hub. The Hub hosts a mini golf course, a café, and a pop up event space. The Hub also has tourist information and local information for community consultations.

    They are seeking a talented and creative cook to join our team, and the right candidate will have the necessary skills to ensure the smooth daily operation of all food delivered to customers meet a high standard.

    There will be potential to look at other opportunities within the Hub to enhance and grow our menu as they extend their options.

    About you

    You will be a fun, friendly, and confident character with over two years' minimum experience running a kitchen or have helped run a robust kitchen.

    You must be a team player, passionate about cooking and maintaining food hygiene standards, and be easy going and adaptable. You will have high personal standards and as a registered charity we would expect you to have strong personal values.

    Ideally, you will either have a qualification in a relevant discipline or you will have extensive experience in a similar environment with a proven track record of success.

    In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred; however full training will be given. If you are a culinary enthusiast looking to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

    You will be able to self-motivate and lead your personal development, taking an active part in your regular reviews, appraisal and development planning. You will be able to self-analyse and document your development areas working on these individually and with Hub management.

    About BRAG

    BRAG Enterprises is a Fife-based charity that supports people, who in the main, are residing in disadvantaged areas of Fife to gain the training and employability skills to enable them to move into sustainable employment. They have worked for over 35 years with communities to improve their economic resilience. They also own business centres in Crosshill and Methil that act as Community Enterprise Centres where they rent out affordable business space.

    The Together Levenmouth Hub is the first of their high street regeneration projects and they want to bring growth to Leven and its high street with plans to grow the Together brand across Fife, so they have plenty of opportunities for the right candidate.
