Congratulations to K107FM for winning the Marketing and Innovation category at this year's Fife Business Awards!
This is a huge achievement for the Kirkcaldy-based station, marking the station's four Fife Business Award nomination over the past three years.
Fife Business Awards, run by Fife Chamber of Commerce, held their ceremony at the iconic Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in St Andrews on Friday 16 May 2025.
Alex Airnes from K107FM said “This award is testament to the proactive hard work behind the scenes to support our volunteers, and provide a local radio service to the area. We’ve been a long term option for cost effective on-air radio advertising for local SME’s, but over the past year or so have been able to increase our working relationships with key local and national stakeholders, offering a blend of on-air, social media and broadcast coverage from live events and product launches."
Operating as a not-for-profit Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation community interest company, with over 35 regular volunteers, K107FM remains as the only OFCOM licenced community radio station within Fife. As such all monies received are ploughed straight back into sustaining, maintaining and improving the station.
