Whether it's volunteering with animals, helping at a community cafe, or becoming a trustee, there's something for everyone!

Lunchtime Learning - Recruiting the Volunteers You Need
12.00 - 1.00pm, onlineKen Fisher, Volunteering Development Officer at FVA, will guide us through:
- How to be clear about what kind of volunteer you need (skills, attributes, experience etc)
- How to explain the benefits of volunteering, including what support you are offering as part of that process (e.g., induction, training)
- How to make best use of Fife Voluntary Action’s registration process and website to promote your volunteering opportunity
- How to maximise your networks and local resources to get your opportunity the exposure it needs
- How to encourage the right volunteers towards your organisation, using your role description to break down potential barriers
Who should attend? Anyone working for a voluntary organisation who recruits and manages volunteers.

Learn about strategies, tools, frameworks and resources which you can use to improve and enhance your practice.

10.00am - 4.00pm, Community Support Hub DunfermlineTo celebrate Volunteers' Week 2025, we are hosting a volunteers open day at the Community Support Hub in Dunfermline.
Everyone is invited to pop into our volunteering shop to explore volunteering opportunities, sign up to training, and discover how volunteering can change your life.
