The shortlist for the 2025 Volunteering and Voluntary Sector Awards is here!

The awards champion the truly exceptional work of volunteers and voluntary organisations in Fife. The 16 categories recognise the incredible contribution and outstanding volunteering, shining a light on the success stories and brilliant people and organisations behind volunteering.

We received 270 nominations from across the voluntary sector, making it a tough job for the panel of judges to select only three shortlisted nominees and a winner for each category. The quantity of nominations shows the strength of the sector, and champions the amazing work of volunteers and voluntary organisations in Fife.

We received a high number of Long Service nominations. All those nominated under this category will receive a certificate.

In addition to the categories below, a number of young people will also receive their Saltire Summit Award, the Scottish Government’s volunteering programme for people aged 12-25.

The awards will take place on the evening of Tuesday 03 June 2025 at The Bay Hotel, Kinghorn. It’s a special night, giving volunteers the opportunity to chat to each other, celebrate successes, and enjoy food and drinks.

Individuals and organisations shortlisted in the list below have been sent an invitation, and we look forward to seeing you all at the awards!

Congratulations to all who have been shortlisted!
