  • Overcoming Challenges Through Community Engagement

Volunteering For All heard from Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau about how engaging the community in volunteering has helped them to overcome challenges.

"Community integration, the strongest voice we have is not our own. The word of mouth of members of our community is invaluable. If the community is talking about CAB, talking about the work we do and the volunteering opportunities available then it is essentially recruiting for us. This is why we strive to maintain a high quality and trusted service to our community. Attending events, running outreach sessions, school events, working with other local groups and organisations etc. All in the effort to build and maintain relationships within the community."
