Volunteering For All heard from Cumbernauld Action for Care of the Elderly (CACE) about their recruitment of volunteers.

"Recruiting volunteers has always been difficult and it doesn’t seem to be getting an easier. What we do at CACE isn’t reinventing the wheel but it’s highlighting our strengths, what we do for the community and how accessible we are as an organisation. This means that we promote the frequency and length of the commitments per role and how flexible we can be. It’s important to continually think and develop the unique selling point of the organisation.

"Keep trying different places, open days, careers fairs. Making contacts and asking just on the off chance that someone is interested or that an organisation can donate something to your cause."
