Become a Young Inspection Volunteer
Created: 01/05/2025Care Inspectorate is looking to sign up young people who have personal experience of care, and are aged between 18 and 27. If this is you, you can apply to become a young inspection volunteer, where you'll contribute to making care better.
Care Inspectorate inspect care and social work services to make sure they are high quality and meet the needs of people who use them. They believe they can make care better by working with people who have personal experience of care.
Their involvement and equalities charter outlines how they involve people who use care services and informal carers in their work.

Who can apply?
If you have personal experience of using a service or you have cared for someone close who has used a service, there are many ways you can get involved. You do not have to have any qualifications. You must be aged between 18-27 to apply.
