For the Volunteering Action Plan, Greener Peebles shared their experience of running a community garden.
They currently have about 30 people of all ages coming every week to our open volunteering sessions, held on Tuesday and Friday mornings. They are invited to join a WhatsApp chat group, ‘Happy Gardeners’, and to attend monthly volunteer meetings in order to have a say in the running of the garden.
