  • Journey to Diverse and Inclusive Volunteer Recruitment

    Created: 16/04/2025
    News/Events Category: Volunteering

For the Volunteering for All Action Plan, Drumchapel Citizens Advice Bureau has shared their experience of recruiting diverse volunteers.

They said "Our experience has been very positive and proactive. We have successfully recruited volunteers across multiple core groups including ethnic minority groups, deprived communities, older and younger age groups and working age groups. Our long-standing volunteers participate with the recruitment of new volunteers by attending local events within community centres, Universities and partnership organisations to share their experience of volunteering with us. We feel this has and continues to create a diverse and inclusive volunteer recruitment process."
