St Andrews Beach Wheelchairs are now open for the 2025 season.
Beaches should be accessible to everyone including those with mobility issues. St Andrews Beach Wheelchairs aims to do that in and around St Andrews' beautiful beaches.
About the service
- Free rental of a beach friendly wheelchair
- They have available: Small child hippocampe, medium child Hippocampe, large child / small adult Hippocampe, four Debug chairs, Nomad Desert, and a Beach Walker
- They also have a hoist available - users will need to provide their own sling
- Beach Wheelchairs are available to rent on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays
- Advance booking is advised but walk-ins also welcome
- Can be rented for three hours from 10am until 4pm
- Also available for half day rentals
