Their service is as important as ever and the organisation has now secured funding to further its role in supporting children and families who are waiting to engage with child-specific health services in Fife.
The Role
The Income Maximisation Worker will deliver an income maximisation service to families who have a child with a (undiagnosed or diagnosed) disability who are engaged with Health Services. The successful applicant will:
- Assess welfare benefit entitlement and provide budgeting assistance while also actively referring both internally and externally where further issues are identified e.g. debt issues
- Work across a number of health related services and be required to develop the project with appropriate support being provided by NHS Fife Health Promotion Service
- Be expected to keep your skills, knowledge and experience up-to-date in all key areas of advice and service delivery to allow you to provide the highest possible service to clients of CARF
About You
You will have:
- A good standard of education, high quality personal skills and a desire to improve lives
- Experience of working in an advice giving capacity and/or a knowledge or interest in the social security system would be advantageous
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as supporting and delivering on CARF’s vision and values
