  • Columba Trust

    Created: 13/03/2025
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The trust funds the maintenance of Christian marriage, the support of single mothers and their children, and the spiritual support of prisoners.

Trustees are keen to receive applications from organisations that foster a better understanding of the Catholic faith among young people and encourage their involvement in charitable activities.

    Who can apply?

The trust will generally favour grant applications from organisations and individuals based in Scotland although applications from those based outside of Scotland will be considered.

The trust does award grants to individuals from time to time, but the overall purpose of the application must benefit a wider group of people and not just the applicant personally, e.g. an application for funding to study for a PhD would not normally be successful.

    How to apply

The closing date for applications is Monday 30 June 2025.
