ALLIANCE and NHS Scotland are hosting an online focus group about person-centred care.
The focus group will explore what's meant by person-centred care.
Consistently providing person-centred care, in which people in receipt of care are treated with respect, involved in decisions about their care, and are treated as individuals, is a key aim of NHS Scotland. However, there is currently no tool to measure person-centred care used nationally, which limits their ability to assure that this is happening as expected.
This focus group with members of the public will ensure that the work is useful and relevant to peoples' experiences of care.
