    Hours: 36 hours per week
    Salary: £29,508.69 - £32,437.03
    Location: Based at Pitcairn Centre, Glenrothes, working predominantly in the Levenmouth area

     

    Fife Coast and Countryside Trust (FCCT) are seeking a Green Health Partnership Coordinator to join their dynamic and effective Conservation and Engagement team.

    The Role

    The Green Health Partnership Coordinator will identify and develop strong working relationships with green health and social referral organisations, services and groups, across the public, voluntary and private sector to develop stronger collaboration between sectors to achieve positive public health outcomes. Managed by FCCT and working closely with the multi-agency GHP Steering group to develop and deliver on the Levenmouth Green Health Partnership action plan. You will be required to:

    • Develop, deliver and evaluate community engagement approaches to gather local knowledge around attitudes, interests and behaviours around the use of nature based and outdoor spaces and organisations
    • Develop and deliver promotional resources and social media content to increase awareness and participation in local activities and promote Levenmouth GHP activity
    • Lead on the design of data gathering systems to enable robust monitoring and evaluation of impact
    • Manage the upkeep of a monitoring and evaluating framework and process, based on the results of a commissioned report into the green health referrals in Levenmouth, and focussed on contribution and learning

    About you

    Are you passionate about the Health and Wellbeing impact of nature and increasing access to green health opportunities? FCCT are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, partnership-orientated and enthusiastic individual to lead the development and delivery of a local Green Health Partnership (GHP) within the Levenmouth area of Fife. You will need strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including multi-agency partnerships.

    You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

    • Educated to SCQF Level 9/10 (degree) or equivalent practical relevant experience
    • Experience of working within the third sector and/or development work with voluntary and community groups
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationships effectively when engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including multi-agency partnerships
    • Experience of balancing operational with strategic priorities whilst delivering projects with maximum impact to deadlines and with limited resources
    • Working knowledge of mental health challenges
    • Ability to motivate and develop others and manage quality and performance utilising strong leadership skills
    • Experience of planning and delivery of monitoring and evaluation utilising the suite of Microsoft applications
    • Passionate about Green Health with a working knowledge of Our Natural Health System and related cross sector collaboration approaches
    • Highly innovative and experienced in designing new systems and processes with the appropriate IT skills to support this
    • Understanding of social inclusion policies and agenda
    • Experience of working with children, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups
