  • Scottish Wildfire Prevention Campaign

    Created: 05/03/2025
    News/Events Category: General News

Spring is the most critical period for wildfires in Scotland. Scottish Fire and Rescue is urging the public to be aware of wildfire risk this spring as figures show almost 80% of large outdoor fires since 2010 were recorded between March and May.

Scottish Fire and Rescue is currently campaigning and promoting the prevention message across Scotland, educating people how to behave responsibly when they're outdoors and how to keep safe.

Further information about the campaign and how to safe can be found on their website.
