Criteria and guidelines vary depending on whether you are applying for a Main, Large or Flagship grant. See the Tree Council website to view the full guidelines.
Who can apply?
Applications are welcome from schools, constituted groups, residents associations, nurseries and care homes, community interest companies (CICs), as well as registered charities. They prefer to fund smaller local charities, however they will consider larger regional or national charities if certain criteria are met. Please get in touch with the Tree Council if you are a larger charity and wish to apply.
Groups must have a bank account registered in the name of the applicant organisation, into which the grant can be paid.
Whilst they will fund projects in other locations, they are particularly interested in receiving applications from groups in Glasgow.
