    Hours: 30 hours per week
    Salary: £24,340 - £24,948 per annum pro rata
    Location: Glenrothes

     

    Kingdom Support and Care provide high quality, personalised support and care for over 300 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley. They support individuals to manage or overcome challenges, including age-related issues, alcohol and drug addictions, autism spectrum disorders, complex needs, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health issues.     The Role

    As a Support Worker, you will:

    • Provide high quality support and care to adults in the Glenrothes area with learning disabilities and mental health issues. Individuals may require assistance with an element of personal care, medication, and assisting with daily household tasks within their own homes
    • Provide sleepover support and support with day activities in the community, including cinema, arts and crafts, other clubs including the local disco
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, family members, colleagues, and other professionals

    Kingdom Support and Care is looking for someone who:

    • Has high empathy and tolerance levels along with a great sense of humour. These qualities are essential for success in this sometimes challenging but rewarding role
    • Has a flexible approach to work, it is essential you are able to work shifts which will include weekends, evenings and sleepovers
    • A current driving licence, business insurance and the use of a car for work purposes is essential and you must be willing to use your car to transport service users to activities
    • Ideally you should have experience of support and care, however this is not essential as training will be provided

    This post is subject to a PVG Disclosure check which will be paid for by Kingdom Support and Care.
