    Kingdom Support and Care provide high quality, personalised support and care for over 300 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley. 

    The role is centred around understanding the day to day challenges faced by people with homelessness issues. As part of the support team, you will ensure a high quality of care and support is delivered to individuals in central West Fife both in a hostel setting and within their own homes. No day is ever the same, but every day is rewarding.

    The Role

    As an Assistant Service Coordinator, you will:

    • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, family members, colleagues, and other professionals
    • Work closely with the Service Coordinators and Support Workers to ensure service users' needs are met
    • Develop and implement support plans, ensuring outcomes are set and people are supported to achieve these 
    • Ensure high quality care and support is delivered to individuals
    • Undertake review meetings, support both the staff team and the performance management process

    About You

    If you hold an SVQ 2 qualification in Care or a related field in line with the SSSC registration criteria this could be the opportunity for you. Further learning to gain an SVQ 3 would be required within a two year timeframe.

    Kingdom Support and Care is looking for someone who:

    • Has a flexible approach to work, it is essential you are able to work shifts which will include weekends, evenings and sleepovers, with some allocated office time within your rota
    • You should have two years experience in a support and care setting and within a homeless setting as well as knowledge/experience of supporting people
    • A current driving licence, business insurance, and the use of a car for work purposes is essential. You will be required to take supported individuals in your car for their activities
    • Experience at supervisory level is a benefit however an understanding of the qualities and skills required is pivotal
