Support Worker - Kingdom Support and Care

In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring a high quality of care and support for individuals with a wide range of support and care needs, including people with learning disability, age-related conditions and mental health issues within Kingdom's Balfarg service which covers the Glenrothes area.
The post holder will provide support to one individual with physical care needs including manual handling, hoisting, gastrostomy feeding, medication administration, and high personal care needs.
The role is primarily centred around understanding and supporting the day-to-day living of the service users. Working within this service the successful individual requires to have the passion, drive and dedication in helping others to live fulfilling lives.

Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) provides high quality and personalised support and care for over 300 individuals across Fife and Forth Valley. They support the individuals they work with to manage or overcome challenges, including age-related issues, alcohol and drug addictions, autism spectrum disorders, complex needs, homelessness, learning disabilities and mental health issues. You must either have an SVQ 2 qualification in care or be willing to work towards this qualification within the relevant timeframe outlined by the SSSC. Due to the nature of the role it is essential you are able to be flexible and work shifts which will include weekend working and evenings.
A current driving licence, business insurance, and the use of a car for work purposes is essential.
