Perinatal and Infant Mental Health - Third Sector Insights Survey 2025
Created: 20/02/2025This national survey aims to capture information about third sector organisations that are delivering Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH) services in Scotland.
For the purposes of this survey, they define PIMH services as those that deliver mental health and wellbeing support to parents and carers through pregnancy and until the infant's first birthday, and/or infant mental health and infant-parent relationship support from conception until the baby's third birthday. An example of this could be mental health peer support, parenting support, or counselling.
A third sector organisation is a non-profit organisation, a voluntary or community organisation – for example charities, social enterprises and community groups.
Inspiring Scotland is running the survey and they would like to hear from third sector organisations delivering PIMH support and organisations and agencies that refer families to third sector PIMH services. They have different questions for you depending on whether you are from third sector organisations or if you refer to third sector groups delivering PIMH services.
They are gathering information about the following:
This will build on the data Inspiring Scotland has captured since 2022 and will be used to produce a 2025 PIMH Third Sector Insight Report. The report will be shared with the Scottish Government, other early years and independent funders, and publicly on Inspiring Scotland's website.
The report will inform Inspiring Scotland and stakeholders about the sector's current position and support and influence future development.
How they use the information
Inspiring Scotland will see your name, e-mail, and organisation when viewing your response to the survey. However, you can select if you would like your data to be anonymous in the report.
How to take the survey
The survey will take up to 10 minutes to complete.
