Created: 12/02/2025Four Fife groups were delighted to receive support in Creative Scotland's multi-year funding announcement.
Creative Scotland distributes funding from the Scottish Government and the UK National Lottery. With this funding, they support a portfolio of organisations across Scotland to help develop individuals, funding ideas and projects, and deliver specific activity with partners.
Fife Contemporary received a 50% increase in the latest round, their first rise since 2017. Fife Contemporary is an independent craft and visual arts organisation that runs a Fife-wide programme of visual art and craft exhibitions, events, and activities to support artists and makers and for the public.
StAnza, Scotland's International Poetry Festival, secured funding, as did Forgan Arts Centre in Newport-on-Tay, and Stellar Quines, an intersectional feminist theatre company which recently relocated from Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy.
StAnza, Scotland’s International Poetry Festival, is an award-winning festival dedicated to bringing poetry in all its forms and many languages to audiences around the world.
They all emerged successful from a lost list of over 250 applications.
