Smart Life in Fife is a proactive tool that support independent living as not everyone needs a full occupational therapy assessment or wants to wait for one.
Smart Life is accessible anyone living in Fife, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year.
Once you have completed an online assessment you will receive recommendations and solutions that are available to you to manage your independent living, or it'll advise if professional input is required. The tool also provides access to a wide range of professional advice and recommendations about home safety, local amenities, and general health information.
Following feedback on the Smart Life in Fife assessment tool, it has become clear that the current name does not reflect that it is a support tool for independent living that anyone can access or that it is widely known about.
Fife Health and Social Care Partnership would like to rename the assessment tool to better capture the core identity of the system. There are three name suggestions and you can take part in the poll to select your preferred name.
